 | | | | Since 1997 the animago AWARD has honoured the best productions in the field of Digital
Content Creation (DCC). The impressive trade exhibition documents the work creative
people produce with state-of-the-art technology. Films such as “Avatar”, virtual worlds
such as “Second Life”, video games like “World of Warcraft” and nearly all advertising
spots would not be possible without animations.
In its thirteen years of existence the animago AWARD has received over 10,000
international entries from more than 45 countries – including animations for film and TV, advertising spots, short films and industry productions as well as ambitious home
productions. The competition is organised annually by DIGITAL PRODUCTION, the leading trade magazine for post-production and visualisation in the German-speaking world.
The animago CONFERENCE is a high profile event that focuses on the main topics of visualisation, animation, games postproduction and film. Companies, nominees & winners of the animago AWARD as well present their technologies, products and innovations.
